As a naturopathic doctor and chiropractic physician, Dr. Botterman is trained to diagnose and treat common ailments with natural and physical medicine. Nutritional Consultations
Diet and nutrition are an important part of health and can play a role in how you feel from day to day. Nutritional consultations involve gaining a detailed understanding of your lifestyle, eating habits and medical history. Dr. Botterman will work with you to create simple but impactful changes to your diet to meet any goal, from weight loss to increased vegetable intake, to increased athletic performance and recovery. Diets are not one size fits all and Dr. Botterman will work with you individually to create a customized plan that meets your needs and your lifestyle.
Lab Testing
Withania Natural Health offers a variety of laboratory testing that can be performed both in office and at home. General screening tests including thyroid, cholesterol, anemia, glucose and vitamin deficiencies are available in office. Specialty testing such as microbiology stool testing, micronutrient levels, adrenal testing, and testing for delayed food and chemical hypersensitivities, can also be applied for a number of different conditions. Food and chemical hypersensitivities are tested through a unique test that evaluates the white blood cells' response to these specific items (Lymphocyte Response Assay or LRA). The test is more specific than IgG testing and offers insight into delayed reactions, rather than immediate (IgE) allergies. Common conditions that can benefit from LRA testing include chronic allergies, skin conditions, digestive system disruptions, chronic fatigue, and frequent illnesses. The test can be beneficial for determining sources of inflammation in the body. View a list of included items in each panel
